Vision Statement:

“To provide high quality performance management for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department through the utilization and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative data.”

The Assessment and Planning (A & P) Section is one of the sections under the Division of Support Services. This section uses data analytical techniques and the Geographic Information System (GIS) to provide extensive data insight through the transforming and data modeling, which provides optimum support for data-driven decision making.  

This section tracks several key performance indicators and generates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports which evaluate the success of the department in accomplishing set benchmarks. Additionally, the Assessment & Planning section is an essential contributor to the department’s accreditation process.
