Goals and expectations
The Goal of the AFRD Paramedic Program is to prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor(skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or “Emergency Medical Responder levels.”
We expect our graduates to be well equipped to adapt to ever changing environments, while providing the highest quality of care to all, in a professional manner which encompasses Atlanta Fire Rescue’s core values of Integrity, Competence, Excellence, Honesty, Predictability, Accountability, and Ism-free.
